About Me

Luma Hasan is a Palestinian activist, New Jersey public schools Social Studies educator, and part-time lecturer at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. She has worked to develop resources, curriculum, and workshops for anti-bias, anti-racist, liberation and decolonizing frameworks. Luma has also led and facilitated student-centered youth participatory action research programs throughout Central Jersey. To fuel the fight for solidarity and collective liberation, Luma is also an avid baker, plant collector, and DIY enthusiast.
